I have taught history at secondary school level for 14 years and have successfully helped countless cohorts of students to achieve their success at KS3, GCSE and A level. I prioritise getting to know the individual student, their strengths and their areas to improve. This way it is the students who are the successful individuals. I have worked at head of department, and trained new teachers. I have worked with students who have a wide range of SEND needs and my priority has always been the individual student making their own progress to achieve their goal, essay writing, source analysis and confidence in the subject, all achievable while individualising the lessons to the students.
