Not every child learns between four and six in the evening. For families home educating, for children out of school or on a reduced timetable, and for adults retaking GCSEs, our teachers teach during the school day — online across the UK.
Each profile shows the exact hours that tutor can teach. 12 of them have experience supporting learners with SEND. Book a single lesson to start — there are no packages.

Who daytime tuition is for
A qualified subject teacher for the parts of the curriculum you would rather not teach yourself — often maths or the sciences at GCSE. Weekly, fortnightly, or a block before an exam.
For pupils off school with anxiety, illness, or awaiting a placement. Lessons are one to one, at their pace, from home, with the same teacher each time — which is usually what rebuilds confidence.
If your child is in school part of the week, daytime lessons fill the gaps without eating into their evenings and weekends.
Anything during the school day — mornings from around 9am, and afternoons up to about 3:30pm. Tutors set their own availability, so the times shown on each profile are the times they can genuinely teach.
They are the same tutors. Everyone listed on Teachers Delivered is a qualified teacher with an enhanced DBS check verified by us before they can take a booking. Many teach part-time, supply, or have retired from full-time classroom work, which is exactly why they have daytime hours free.
Yes. Tell your tutor what you are working from — a scheme of work, a textbook, a particular exam board — and they will teach to it. You can add notes when you book, and message your tutor beforehand.
You book a single lesson rather than a package, so there is no commitment beyond that hour. Many families start with a short introductory session so their child can meet the tutor with no pressure to perform. Nineteen of our tutors have experience supporting learners with SEND.
Both, depending on the tutor. Online lessons run in a video classroom built into the site — nothing to install — which is what makes daytime tuition practical wherever you are in the UK. Some tutors also teach face-to-face near where they live.
Tutors set their own rate, starting at £40 for a one-hour lesson. You pay per lesson when you book. There is no membership, no agency fee, and a cancellation with more than 24 hours' notice is refunded in full.
