About

I am an experienced post-16 educator and currently lead a high-performing sixth form with consistently above-average student outcomes. Alongside my leadership role, I have extensive classroom experience teaching A-Level Sociology, A-Level Psychology and Level 3 Criminology, giving me a strong understanding of both academic content and exam success. My approach to tutoring is evidence-informed, personalised and focused on helping students build confidence as well as achieve excellent grades. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit their individual needs, whether they need support understanding difficult concepts, improving exam technique or aiming for the highest grades. As the leader of a successful sixth form, I work with students and teachers every day to raise achievement. The strategies I use are grounded in educational research and proven in practice, enabling students to make exceptional progress. I bring that same expertise, high expectations and supportive approach to every tutoring session, helping students not only succeed in their exams but also develop the independent study skills needed for university and beyond.
