Hello, I'm Abu. I am an experienced History and English teacher and former Head of Department with over a decade of experience in state and independent schools. I have an average career-long GCSE pass rate of more than 90%. (Last year, all of my students achieved either a grade ‘8’ or ‘9’). My approach is positive and nurturing with high expectations. I take the time to understand each student, build their confidence, and stretch them to achieve their very best. Lessons are meticulously planned as part of a clear, structured sequence, with timely marking and personalised feedback so progress is always clear.
