I am a UK-qualified primary teacher with more than 30 years of classroom experience, including 16 years in UK primary schools. I have taught children from Nursery through to Year 6, with particular experience in Key Stage 2 and the English National Curriculum. I tutor English, Maths and Science and can also provide broader primary curriculum support. My approach is calm, encouraging and tailored to the individual child. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding, explaining concepts clearly and helping pupils build both confidence and independence. I have extensive experience supporting children with different abilities and learning needs, including SEND and EAL pupils, and I adapt lessons to suit each child's level and learning style. Whether a child needs help catching up, consolidating classroom learning or being stretched further, my aim is to make lessons purposeful, engaging and enjoyable.
