I have over eight years of teaching experience across all KS2 year groups, giving me a deep understanding of the curriculum, expected progress points, and the learning behaviours typical of pupils aged 7–11. Throughout my career, I have delivered extensive 1:1 SATs preparation, supporting pupils with arithmetic fluency, reasoning strategies, reading comprehension, and high‑quality writing. My approach focuses on building confidence, securing core skills, and developing the exam‑ready techniques that help children feel calm, prepared, and capable. I am a qualified SENCO with extensive SEND experience across KS2. This includes supporting pupils with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, ASC, working‑memory needs, processing‑speed difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges. My tutoring is highly adaptive, using multisensory methods, structured scaffolding, personalised learning plans, and clear routines to help pupils with additional needs thrive. I regularly work with EHCP targets, liaise with families, and design interventions that build independence as well as academic progress.
