About
I have taught Spanish for over 20 years in a range of schools in Kent and East Sussex. I have also been Head of Spanish, Head of Modern Foreign Languages and Lead Practitioner for Modern Foreign Languages during my career. In these roles, I was responsible for students` progress across the subject, not just in my classes. In addition, I have experience in teaching Eduqas and AQA specifications for A Level Spanish and AQA and Edexcel specifications for GCSE. I am also an examiner at GCSE. This has offered great insight into what students need to do to secure the highest marks. My favourite thing to teach is film at A Level. I have taught Maria Llena Eres de Gracia, El Laberinto del Fauno and Volver and know them very well. My experience and excellent subject knowledge mean that I know how to get the best from my students.
