About
Having worked in a range of settings, I specialise in teaching language analysis (AO2) which students struggle with the most - making linguistic connections to demonstrate depth of analysis. I have taught all the core texts on the GCSE curriculum, and have also taught A-Level. I have examined for AQA two years in a row and am familiar with the requirements to pass both language and literature papers. I am passionate about promoting high level vocabulary and have built a literacy intervention toolkit in my last school, which helped turn around behaviour and was acknowledged in the 2023 Ofsted report.
