Qualified Computer Science Teacher | KS3 & GCSE
Member since October 2026
I am a qualified Computer Science teacher with experience teaching KS3 and GCSE students. I am passionate about making Computer Science engaging, enjoyable and easier to understand, particularly for students who may lack confidence in the subject. I like to make lessons interactive and use activities, games and challenges alongside clear explanations and practice questions. For example, I can turn revision topics into quizzes and games, use programming challenges to develop problem-solving skills, and break difficult concepts down into manageable steps. I have experience teaching Python, algorithms, computer systems, networks, data representation and cyber security, as well as preparing students for GCSE Computer Science. I have taught the OCR GCSE specification and can support students with both subject knowledge and exam-style questions. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my sessions to their individual needs. Whether a student wants help understanding a difficult topic, improving their programming skills or preparing for their GCSE exams, my aim is to help them build confidence while making Computer Science enjoyable.
