WJEC Eduqas GCSE English Language (C700QS). Two exam components of different weights, plus spoken language, which is reported separately.

What to know about Eduqas
- The components aren't equal: Component 2, on non-fiction reading and transactional writing, is 60% of the GCSE.
- Component 2 has two compulsory writing tasks, worth 20 marks each.
- All the texts in the exams are unseen, from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
- November exams are only for students aged 16 or over by 31 August.
- Spoken language is reported separately and doesn't count towards the grade.
- Eduqas is part of WJEC. This GCSE isn't available in maintained schools in Wales.
