Does my child need a tutor who knows Edexcel?
The maths is the same at every exam board: Ofqual sets the content and the topic weightings. What differs is the papers, so practising with Edexcel papers matters. Every tutor on this page lists Edexcel for GCSE Maths.
Should my child sit Foundation or Higher?
Foundation covers grades 1 to 5 and Higher grades 4 to 9. Higher suits students aiming above a 5; Foundation suits a secure 4 or 5. A tutor can usually recommend a tier after a lesson or two.
